  1. With erasmus I learnt a lot about sustainable tourism. When I entered the project I had no idea of how being a sustainable tourist is important.
Erasmus made me meet a lot of people, have new experiences, try new food, see new cultures and a lot of other things. The people from erasmus are great! Everyone is super nice, they receive you well and I hope I can be with them again in the future.
If I have an Erasmus project in university I will definitely go because it's an experience that I recommend to everyone and that I would love to have again.
We worked a lot for Erasmus+ project but it was definitely worth it!

  2. Erasmus+ is not only a project, to me it's a way of living. I have learned to make do with what i got, i stepped out of my comfort zone and made new friends. It's so hard to say goodbye to the friends you made. New people again, I will miss everyone again and I will have to say goodbye... again. Both new acquaintances and many memories, that I will remember for the rest of my life. I would like to thank you very much for your patience, friendliness and understanding - you are wonderful. I will miss everyone so much and although we have to say goodbye you will forever be in my heart<3

  3. I’ve found that Erasmus is a great way to show children how sustainability is important for our world and help them to choose the right decision - to take care of our planet. I also think that this project is a really nice possibility for children to visit a new country, collect some experience, to find new friends abroad, to improve their language skills and probable to learn a new language with new friends.

  4. I learned that Erasmus is indeed very important to the environment as well as to the tourists that are visiting cities all over the world. I found the presentation about the wine very very interesting, I love how naturally the wine is produced. Also, it is fascinating how cork is made as well.

  5. I learned at Erasmus, that we need to be open minded and need to be curious, friendly and respectful. I think, living together is only possible, if you are ready to adapt. You need to step out and contribute to the project. Erasmus was a very good experience for me and I enjoyed every bit of it. I love to meet new people and learn about the different cultures. Working together forms a bond that is very powerful. So overall, I enjoyed the meeting in Portugal a lot and would love to meet everybody again!

  6. For me Erasmus is a way to live life, because you get so much experiences that bring sparkle to your life. In this Erasmus project i found out how important sustainability is and i made new friends, had so much fun, saw a lot of beautiful landscapes, places and tried to be the best version of me. This experience was so much fun and i wouldn’t change anything. I love Erasmus and i will contribute in more projects.

Erasmus has been one of the best experiences of my life. I feel so lucky and grateful because I had the chance to get to know this experience which I will never forget. If I were you and you had the chance to take part in an Erasmus+, I would say yes without doubting it.

We learn so many things about our planet and work on becoming more sustainable while working with people from all over Europe. Erasmus is also an example of overcoming problems in life because it has had to deal with so many issues , like the pandemic, but they have always managed to keep going.

Erasmus+ and Thinking Green is a big family where everyone is aceptes and it genuelly feels like home. It is such an enriching experience that you can’t miss in your life. This project has seen me grow into the person who I am today and I am so proud of being a part of it.

  8. Joining this project was one of the best decisions that I've ever taken. In the beginning I only went into this project so that I could travel to another European country. However I can safely say that after 3 year participating in this amazing initiative I can guarantee that I earned much more than a simple plane ticket. I made friends from all over europe. I learned a lot about different cultures and their respectives historys. And more importantly got more integrated into this enormous family that is the European Union.

  9. Erasmus is an experience that everyone should live at least once in their lifetime. It is both fulfilling and educational and teaches you values that will help in your future.

Erasmus has teached me that everyone is the same and that the world is more connected than ever. That everyone is willing to work together towards a common objective, that in this case is achieving a sustainable tourism and future.

Erasmus + means equality and unity. Means that working hard and having fun at the same time is possible. Erasmus is able to teach people how to connect with each other by also helping the environment at the same time.

In conclusion, erasmus has enabled me to make friends all around the world and learn about different cultures and the value of sustainability. I am forever grateful for this experience and would strongly recommend everyone to give it a try.

  10. After Erasmus I think that I understand better sustainable tourism and sustainability. I think that project must have been longer because you connect with people just a day before you go. My own goal was to make some friends and learn English better. There are lot of really great people and I am very honored to be with that people. I learned how to present a project and how to make an business idea. I also connected more with my friends from Slovenia because we were together all the time. It was a wonderful experience.

Erasmus is one of the best experiences I have ever had. It has helped me socialize with new people, meet new cultures, make new friends, practice my English and learn to travel in a sustainable way.

For me Erasmus means a lot, because despite all the problems that have happened in the last few years we have always tried to go forward without giving up. It is like a second family.

  12. So from this Erasmus project I have learned a lot. First of all, I was getting out from my comfort zone a lot. That was the most amazing thing that had hapened to me here.Second of all, I had chance to communicate with a lot of people, meet amazing people, had chance to travel in Portugal, see the country, see how other Portugals are living in a daily basics, taste the tradicional food, enjoy the sun. I recomend to take part of this project to everyone who wants to try new experience, get out of their comfort zone. Here I was thinking a lot, had a lot of time to think. I think, that you can be happy everywhere you live. Also, I saw that every teenager lives the same life in every country. Travelling seems to me not that hard how I thought at the begining. Traveling is amazing experience. Also, I promise myself, that one day I will come back to Portugal, because I really liked this country, want to travel here more. This was my second time when I’m taking part in Erasmus project, but maybe not last time.

  13. “What I learned and what Erasmus means to me”
I always had the dream to participate in a project like Erasmus, and now I’m almost finishing this one!
During this time I have learned a lot of things, from dances to new languages, facts about other cultures and what is sustainable tourism. The theme of the project is sustainable tourism, and I never knew I could learn so much about it.
Erasmus gave me the possibility to meet new people and make friends for life! After all this time, I grew, changed in many ways and all of it was better with Erasmus.
Anything can pay the memories, the friendships or even the knowledge and critic spirit that this project gave to me.

Have had the opportunity to join this erasmus project for these three years, throughout my high school, gave me important knowledge and tools to my future life.
We worked a lot during this years, even in the pandemic time, where we had to adapt to the new reality.
I learned a lot of new words on the other’s language, different cultures and I had a lot of fun.
This project allowed me to have an escape from all the school work and at the same time work on the project, being able to increase my knowledge about sustainable tourism.

  15. Erasmus has taught me patience and many things about myself. It is an amazing experience I would recommend to everyone.

Erasmus has given me some of the best experiences of my life. It is a very exciting way to discover new cultures, try new food, visit other countries and make new friends. Even after the hard and sometimes frustrating work it was completely worth it. All the people I have met were very welcoming and fun.

I would love to repeat this experience again.

Erasmus has been a wonderful experience that has taught me meaningful lessons. Not only academic but also at a personal level. Although meeting with international students is a great way of expanding our knowledge and practicing our English, that is not the point of Erasmus.

This project is way more than visiting new places. At first, traveling was the only thing that encouraged me to participate in it but after three years working together with my classmates, teachers, locals and students from all over Europe, I think it is fair to say that Erasmus is a wholesome experience.

It is a pity that this has come to an end but I am sure I will never forget what I have learnt and lived, even the toughest moments where it seemed that there was no hope left. Erasmus is all about values which enable you to grow as a person. Definitely, the lessons learned, the people, the adventures, the shared stories… are always going to have a special place in my heart. I will forever be grateful for Erasmus.

  17. The first impression I had when I heard about Erasmus was very simple: travel and meet other traditions, and improve our English, but it wasn't really what I was expecting.

Before going on my first mobility, me and my Erasmus team in Portugal, we worked a lot and also learned a lot, we were introduced to an all new world, not just a literal space, but a new intellectual space. I can say that I wasn't the best student on the project, but I have grown since 2019, three years improving myself. Still in Portugal, I meet a lot of new people that became very important to me. My first mobility was to Slovenia, it was a very enriching experience, and I know it wouldn't been so good if it was with different people. There I meet even more people that I also will remember for the rest of my life.

Hopefully it didn't end up there, the last mobility was in Portugal, and I was able to meet again the people that I missed a lot in the last months. Basically, the Erasmus project, turned up to be more than just a English talking travel, and became one of the best experiences of my life.

  18. At the beginning of the project, I was afraid of new people, language barriers and so on. But only now I realize how painful it is for me to think that I have to leave this project. I gained a lot of knowledge and made many new friends. It was an amazing experience in such a beautiful countries . My heart thanks to all the warm people of all countries

You will be in my heart for a long time

For me this experience has been totally unforgettable. I have met people from other countries who I hope to see again on some other occasion and not lose the friendship. From everything I have experienced, I am left with the sensation of having felt welcomed as if I were at home. I believe that experiences like this meeting in Portugal are meetings that are never forgotten and of which everything is beneficial.

  20. Joining Erasmus project was one of the most gratifying experiences of my life.
Since the first day I felt very welcomed and well integrated.
Here I worked a lot. I did so many things and spent so much time in this project. All the work me and my colleagues did had so much quality. Therefore, I am so proud of we all.
I met new people from different countries, cultures and with different personalities. Even though, even so different from me, all of them were so friendly, kind and caring.
This project taught me so much. I could learn about other cultures, new words, improve my English, have fun and make friends for life.
I am so grateful for having the opportunity of living this experience that I won’t ever forget.
My only wish was that the meetings were much longer.

  21. The first thing that comes to mind when i hear “Erasmus” is new friendships. I’ve made so many amazing friendships over the course of one year. The people in this project are like family to me. The teachers are always there to help and assist or also talk to. I’ve travelled to 2 beautiful countries. Saw their culture, landscapes and wonderful people. I learned how to be a better tourist and how I can be more sustainable. I learned about entrepreneurship and how to create and sell my own products. This whole project taught me how to be a better person. I really hope that in the future I will have the chance to be a part of Erasmus once again. This project has changed my life and opened my mind. I believe that I will never forget the friendships and adventures that i had while being a part of this wonderful peoject.

I will always remember it as a fruitful time enjoyed with like-minded people who care about the world‘s future. I‘ll never be the same after the three years of cooperation in this project, and that is all thanks to the contributions made by every single person from the six different countries who has taken part at one point or another of the implementation of this project. The biggest benefit I gained as a teacher, though, was to learn from young people to see things in a simple, creative and solution-oriented way. It has been a highly enriching experience for me, too, in terms our cultural exchange. I‘ll never stop wondering about how so many people of different backgrounds can be united by the same goal – working towards a better future for our planet and future generations. I will cherish the experience and memories of this project as well as look forward to other partnerships involving the dear friends I made in this one. All the best to all of you! Thank you all for your friendship, ideas and positive thinking! Keep up that way!

  24. Erasmus…What an experience…
Now that the project is near to its end, I realise how much this experience means to me.
It’s a real pleasure to be a part of this project and its amazing team. Indeed, I met many beautiful and awesome people, who I will never forget about. I had the opportunity to increase my knowledge and learn about different cultures.
Besides that, this project changed me, it gave me the chance to change my point of view and see the world from a different perspective. So, for me, Erasmus isn’t just something we can add to your curriculum, its a life changing experience, where you learn that the world isn’t that divided. Erasmus showed me that different people with distinct nationalities can work together, make deep friendships and share unique experiences.
In a nutshell, Erasmus allowed me to see another world, a world where the differences don’t tear us apart, where they help us to connect with each other, connecting the whole world, making it one.

  25. For me the experience was just amazing and something that I will remember for the rest of my life. I had unique experiences. I met people that made me feel happy and comfortable. Doing all the activities together, getting to know other countries’ cultures and sharing unique moments.

In addition, I would like to thank all the Portuguese students, as they welcomed me really well, as if I was at home. I had many good times with them, as they were always willing to do the best for us.

Moreover, the friends that I have made here are great and I am willing to keep in touch with them and meeting them again.

I would repeat this without doubting and I would be loving to go on another Erasmus project. This might be one of the best experiences in my life.

  26. The erasmus project was one of the best experiences in my life. I wanted to represent our city and country the best as I could. While doing this I learned a lot even about my own land and I got to know my school friends better. The most fascinating thing was meeting new people, different cultures and visiting another country. I understood why we worked so hard and prepared so long. I learned how to be more open and confident. Every person was differently interesting and nice to me. The students and teachers will stay in my heart forever and I hope to see them again.

  27. When I joined Erasmus, I thought I was going to travel, see the world and that would be it. Today, my vision is so much different! Because of the pandemic, we weren’t able to enjoy it all, but the part that I did, I don’t even have words to explain it. What can I say, I made friends for life. In one week, I got so attached with someone, more than I ever thought possible. Erasmus means laughing about foreign jokes, it means crying while saying goodbye, it means making odd faces when we taste something new, it means finding strange other traditions, but embracing them anyway, it means being quiet trying to understand the other languages, and failing completely, it means new friendships, and everything that comes along. So, to all of the students reading this, if you have a chance to participate in a project such as this one, don’t even hesitate! And to all the friends I made, you’re in my heart… Always.

  28. In October 2021 my teachers asked me if I wanted to join Erasmus+. I thought it would be a fun experience so I said yes. And I was right. It’s one of the best projects ever. I’ve met so many great people that I will never forget. They were my family while we were in Portugal and Slovenia. They are all so nice and kind and they are one of the best people I’ve ever met. I hope it would last longer but it’s not possible. I’ve learned so many new things that I will never forget. As I said before we didn’t just went to Portugal but we also had a meeting in Slovenia. We were the hosts and I thought we did great. Altho we were the youngest that didn’t stop us. We talked to people and we’ve made contacts and I think this is the most important thing in Erasmus. I think it was great and I would definitely do it again.

  29. Visinting other contries has always been a dream of mine and because of that, I decided to participate in this project. In erasmus, I learned the importance of working in group. I couldn’t travel, but I still made great friendships that I don’t want to loose. Erasmus means a lot to me. I’ve been in the project for 3 years now, so I feel that it made me better in many ways. I met new people, learnt so many new things, did so many fun activities and, of course, I also worked really hard when I needed to. I will never forget the time that I spent in Erasmus, as it was a very fun experience that made all of us want to have a more sustainable lifestyle.

  31. Erasmus+ takes a very special place in my heart. I've learned so much over this past week: sharing, caring for others also I found out a lot about different cultures, nature, people and sustainable tourism of course. I met so many beautiful and amazing people who are now my friends. We all shared laughter, tears, confusion, had late night talks and beautiful moments. It's so sad that we all have to seperate and the project is ending. I hope Erasmus+ will continue growing and more people will join. Thank you everyone for everything and project coordinators for making everything fun and memorable.

Since I joined the project in 2019 it has been one of the best experiences I have ever had. We learned so much about environment and sustainable tourism. I went to Slovenia and it was one of the greatest time of my life.
But what is really Erasmus to me? In my opinion, Erasmus is about friendship, communication, socializing, understanding different cultures and making unforgettable memories to tell in the future. In fact, projects like this are the things that make us different and better people.
Just before, the coordinator was saying that the project its almost ending and it made me realize that I never really thought of how close it was to finish. However, I’m not sad. I made really good friends and I enjoyed taking part of it.
In university, I want to repeat the experience because I think I still have many things to learn with it.
So, I guess this is not a “goodbye”, but more like a “see you soon”.

Erasmus has been a unique experience and has given me extraordinary moments that I can never forget. Everyone should live this experience as it is something precious.

This project has taught me to live with more people, to work as a team and individually and to learn the cultures of other countries.

Erasmus is an example of overcoming problems because it has been able to go through all problems and move forward because the erasmus spirit has never been lost and all of the participants have always been willing to work because this project encourages them.

Erasmus is a big family that will always be my heart. It has been one of my best experience of my life. thank you very much.

Erasmus, this project of ours, has been a life-changing and illuminating experience. In what ways, you may ask? I have no idea; I’ve spent the last week thinking about corks.

More than anything though, I want to share with you, all of you, my deepest thanks and gratitude for letting me be in Slovenia and Portugal, even for the shortest period of time. Hello, I’m Leon Valancic from Ljubljana, Slovenia and I entered this project in September last year.
At first, I wasn’t sure how I feel because I didn’t know what is waiting for me or what am I going to do. I had my first meeting in October 2021 when we were hosting the meeting. We visited a lot of attractions in Slovenia like Postojnska cave, where we were riding a train and saw a lot of stalactites, Predjamski castle, lake Bled, Kamp Šobec, a green camp and city Radovljica which is a green city.

This week we visited Portugal and I learned that every country has different customs.
I also learn to use and speak, foreign language, English and communicate with people from other country. I also learned some words in Portuguese, Lithuanian, German and Spanish.
I also made a lot of different friends and I needed to communicate with them in English so I was repeating English at the same time that I was having fun. I also chat with them on social media so we are still in contact.
I also learned a lot about how to make a project task and how to present it.
If I could, I would do it again. It was great experience and I was having fun and still learning about sustainable tourism.

From the beginning to the end all this experience has been incredible. I have met amazing people that I will never forget and with whom I have absolutely great memories.
In this Erasmus+ project I have learnt really interesting facts about sustainable tourism and many things about different countries. They have taught me about their cultures, traditions, daylifes, languages…
Erasmus is an experience that has changed my life. Although I know nothing could compare with how I am feeling right now, I’m willing to take part in another Erasmus experience and make new memories with people as great as the ones I have met in this one.
I want to thank everyone who has taken part in this Erasmus+ project for making this experience one of the bests of my life.
