We are sad about the fact that we couldn’t travel to Lithuania but although we looked forward to work with you in zoom.
ReplyDeleteIt was fun to be in the role of a teacher and prepare teaching lessons and it was nice to be able to share pictures and facts about our city in Germany.
We were glad to meet the students and teachers at least in the zoom calls
It was very much fun for us to do the given tasks
It would be much better to do the tasks with the teacher on site because the understanding in the zoom call was very difficult.
It would have been easier to communicate if we would have been in the same place as everybody.
We are looking forward to meet all students and teachers in Portugal.
Although we didn't get to meet in person the week was full of fun and new experiences. We started by holding presentations about tourism statistics in our hometown and also got to listen to the ones of the other participating countries and took a lot from that. We went on to creating Teaching Units that hopefully will help others to learn about sustainable tourism and animate them to take action themselves. Prior to the meeting we also filmed TikToks to promote our project on social media which we had a lot of fun with and we can't wait to see them getting uploaded. It wasn't always easy participating through zoom but we certainly had fun and managed just fine. We think that the meeting really benefited the project and can't wait for the meeting in Portugal. Sadly some of us won't be able to attend due to final exams but those who will are already looking forward to it.
ReplyDeleteWith all these presentations, we learned a lot about other countries, cities, tourism and the impact of tourism of the people who live there. We also learnt about tourism before and after the virus, which affected everything, but especially tourism. Speaking of tourism, we think it is very important to disseminate this knowledge that we have acquired here to the younger generations, which is why we think that the 'Teaching Units' are very useful and important. In other work, we have also been thinking of different, fun ideas to make people at TikTok aware of sustainable tourism in the most imaginative and entertaining way possible. We were not bored during our stay here because the hosts hosted us very nicely and showed us many interesting, unique and unforgettable things. Overall, we feel that despite all the fun and exploration, we also did a lot of work for the project.

During the meeting on Lithuania, we learnt that every city can be sustainable and have a sustainable tourism. Furthermore, we understood that covid 19 had a huge impact in the tourism of all countries.
ReplyDeleteBy working in the teaching unit, we were able to understand how to prepare a lesson and how to teach on an interactive way.
Creating TikTok’s was a funny experience, something we are not used.
Meeting online was a real challenge, the problems with the sound were a problem but it was funny and we were able to learn much.
Although it isn’t the same as traveling and meeting in person we learnt a lot of sustainability and tourism and we create friendships.
We expect it to be amazing, we hope we create deepest connections with other students and we hope everyone enjoys being here, in Portugal, and learning about our country.

We learned about the similarities and difficulties from the country presentations and also how everyone is dealing with environmental problems. We have been introduced to each country`s culture. We found it very useful, because when we were looking for information, we found something new and also deepened our knowledge on these subjects. We hope that other students will find it useful in their own work and life experience . Making Tik Toks was an interesting and fun experience because we had to communicate, get closer with each other, think about our own environment and use our creative side . We as the host country were very happy to have an opportunity to show off our country and hometown and its history. We hope that the guests enjoyed what we had prepared for them and that they had a great time.
ReplyDeleteWe believe that the meeting was very successful since we were able to complete all or at least most of our work. Our hope for visiting Portugal is that we will all meet there in the flesh. Another thing that we wish to do is to see the beautiful landscape of Portugal and its gorgeous cities. I think that after the final meeting in Portugal, we will all be sustainable tourists and share our ideas with the people around us.

In this project we have learned about the different cultures of their countries for example their food, habits o monuments.

Creating the tiktok’s was fun, enjoyable and entertaining.
We haven’t had any problems and this way it has been possible to do the meeting, therefore it was great.
We think that we have learned a lot and achieve all of our goals.
Finally, we would have liked to go to Lithuania but we’re looking forward to go to Portugal.
